1. By understanding the effect of all operations, products and services of Kawaguchi Plant on environment, we set the environmental target as the technology and economy allows, and control and prevent the contamination.
Also, by conducting a periodical review, we make a steady improvement of the environmental management system.

2. By observing the laws, ordinances, treaties and other agreements on environment, and by acting on the self-imposed measures, we promote further conservation of environment.

3. Among the environmental effects of the operation of Kawaguchi Plant and its products, following areas shall be dealt with as the important themes for environmental control:
(1) Comply with regulations for discharged water
(2) Conserve materials by lowering the defective rates
(3) Conserve materials by improving the quality of purchased parts and thus increasing the production yields
(4) Prevent accidents

4. This environmental policy shall be publicized among all employees and workers of this plant and shall be opened to the public if asked.
